Job summary

RSU 26 (Orono) is seeking a long term substitute van driver to transport students using a district-owned van. Routes run approximately 7:30-8:30 am, 10:45 am-12:45 pm, and 1:30-3:30 pm, totaling about 5 hours per day on school days.

The position pays $17.56 per hour. A valid State of Maine driver’s license, clean driving record, and Maine CHRC through the Maine Department of Education are required before starting. Deadline to apply is until a suitable candidate is found.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State of Maine driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience working with school-age students is a plus.
• Must hold a current State of Maine CHRC through the Maine Department of Education before beginning work.
