Job summary

First Student is hiring a Part-Time School Van Driver in Eagleville, PA. You will start mornings with student pickups and transport them home in the afternoon, with field trips possible.

Training is provided to help you become a safe, professional driver in a large school transportation network. The role offers a part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes, minimum four hours daily pay, and benefits options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• DOT drug testing as safety-sensitive employee.
• Experience supervising boarding and assisting students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
