Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Lakewood, CO. The role supports PreK–12 students with therapy services, screeners, progress tracking, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates hold a valid SLPA certificate/licensure as required by the Colorado Department of Education, prefer school experience, and will join as a 1099 contractor with guaranteed hours and a limited schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution.
• Department of Education licensure as an SLPA, where required.
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
• Fingerprint background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students.
• Conduct screeners and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Plan, document, and communicate therapy activities with SLP supervisor.
