Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join as an itinerant contractor, serving multiple schools near Bolivia, NC. This part-time role offers two days per week and a collaborative, student-centered environment focused on well-being and learning outcomes.

You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and support IEPs and behavioral plans, working with educators and families to promote inclusive education and positive student growth.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Able to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide interventions.
• Deliver individual and group counseling services to address diverse student needs.
• Consult with educators and families on strategies to support learning and behavior.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and BIPs.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings with allied professionals.
• Promote a positive, inclusive environment supporting student well-being.
