Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a School Psychologist for the Waterboro / Lyman, ME area. Part-time, 14 hours weekly across two days, with duties spanning counseling, IEP support, and collaborative work with families and school teams.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Psychology and Maine School Psychologist endorsement. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, retirement matching, and unlimited CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology is required.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist by the Maine Department of Education is required/eligible.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethical accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Assist in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to record-keeping procedures and maintain required documentation.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with required meetings and services.
