Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Aurora, Colorado. This role focuses on direct therapy, assessments, and developing IEP plans for PreK-12 students.

The position offers guaranteed hours and a four-day, 30-hour work week, with collaboration across district staff and families. A strong foundation in sensory integration and pediatric therapy is essential.

Qualifications

• BS, Master’s, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• State License as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT License.
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion in communications.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management for students.
• Develop IEP plans and assess progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators, and parents.
