Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services worker to join our team. The position covers a 183-day calendar with a 5-hour daily schedule and offers placement within the Salary Schedule 1B Grade 1 (attached).

Responsibilities include coordinating with the supervisor, completing assigned tasks, and maintaining ethical, professional conduct while delivering quality meal service to students. Internal candidates are welcome to apply from within JCPS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete the Kentucky Department of Education Certification as a Food Service Employee within 40 days of employment.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
