Job summary

The Auburn School Department seeks a Substitute Registered Nurse to cover a building in Auburn, Maine. In the absence of the school nurse, the substitute will provide preventive health services and respond to emergencies to support students’ physical, mental, and social needs.

This is a part-time, per‑diem position starting immediately; requires fingerprint clearance and at least one year of relevant experience preferred, Bachelor degree preferred, citizenship/residency or work visa required.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint (CHRC) clearance required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive routine and emergency health services to facilitate student growth and development.
• Perform duties in absence of the assigned School Nurse to ensure student safety and well-being.
