Our Lady of Mercy School is seeking a substitute nurse to serve on an as-needed, per-diem basis, starting immediately in East Greenwich, RI. The role reports to the principal and supports the school’s mission with medical expertise and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island Nursing License.
• CPR & AED Certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency care, and ongoing health assessment for students.
• Administer medication according to physician orders and school policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of student health records and school matters.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic health office and proper documentation of medical events.
• Collaborate with staff to support student well-being and safety.
