Job summary

Applitrack at Leggee Elementary School is seeking a part-time School Nurse to coordinate a comprehensive health program for students and staff. The role spans 10 months, 5.5 hours daily, with immediate start and on-site duties in the school setting.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing services in compliance with professional standards and Illinois laws, assisting with IEPs, and promoting health and wellness within the school community.

Qualifications

• Active nursing licensure in Illinois with School Nurse endorsement or RN license with IEP designation and CPR completion.
• Vision and Hearing Screening certification preferred.
• Computer literacy and competency with existing technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a comprehensive school health program delivering services to students and staff.
• Perform duties in accordance with professional nurse practice standards, district/state policies, and Illinois nursing laws.
• Support health and wellness within the school community and assist with IEP-related health services.
