Job summary

Soliant in the United States is seeking a part-time school nurse to support the district’s full‑time nurse in caring for a diverse student population. You’ll assist with screenings, medication administration, and urgent care while upholding health protocols and confidentiality.

This contract role offers a consistent 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (25 hours/week), with collaboration, training, and a focus on safety, wellness, and prevention in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN, LPN/LVN, or CSN license.
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred.
• Knowledge of health assessments, care planning, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication for students, staff, and parents.
• Confidentiality and accurate records required.
• Immunization compliance knowledge a plus.
• Flexible and reliable in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full-time nurse with student health screenings, assessments, and direct care.
• Administer medications and provide first aid or emergency care as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions in the school setting.
• Communicate with families and faculty about health concerns and prevention.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation per district and state requirements.
• Assist in coordinating health-related programs and education.
• Respond promptly to health-related incidents.
