Job summary
The Westbrook School Department is seeking a part-time Food Service Helper for Canal Elementary School, working 3 hours daily alongside one cook in the kitchen. You will help prepare meals for students in Pre-K through 4th grade, supporting a busy, community-focused school kitchen.
We participate in NSLP, the Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Program, and related programs, aiming to provide nutritious meals for all students.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation for Pre-K through 4th grade students.
- Work with one cook in the kitchen to prepare meals and support daily service.
- Support school nutrition programs and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
