Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for part-time Food Service Worker positions at Owen J Roberts School District in Pottstown, PA. The schedule is Monday through Friday with hours that may vary; online applications are accepted only. The role involves food prep, service, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Prior food service experience is preferred but not required, with a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Benefits available for associates.

Qualifications

• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
