Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is seeking a part-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver in Hightstown, NJ to deliver food, supplies and other products to units using a vehicle within an educational facility.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm with training offered. A valid state driver’s license and, where required, a food handler’s permit are required; prior food service and delivery experience is preferred. Strong safety and customer service are valued.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.
• Loads orders onto truck and secures them safely.
• Ensures sanitation and safety guidelines are followed for food and equipment.
• Maintains general cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
• Performs routine maintenance on the truck.
