Job summary

Anderson School District 2's Wright Elementary School in Belton, South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Custodian - Part-Time to maintain clean and safe classrooms, hallways and facilities.

The role reports to the Principal, runs 5 hours per day for 200 days per year, and is paid according to the district salary schedule. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with the ability to work with limited supervision and to organize time effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work with limited amount of direct supervision.
• Ability to organize time and establish work priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities that are custodial in nature and deemed appropriate by Administration.
• Understand and follow safety procedures as provided by the district.
• Keep buildings and grounds neat and clean at all times.
• Clean and maintain all workspaces and equipment.
• Assist in building and grounds security by locking all doors and gates after use and at end of work day.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of building, equipment and grounds.
• Maintain all bathroom facilities in clean and working order.
• Clean cafeteria area after breakfast/lunch and remove trash to outside dumpsters.
• Efficiently and sanitarily clean up after student accidents or illness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
