Qualifications

• Part-time position working 1-3 hours per day.
• Crossing guards are responsible for the safe movement of school children across city roadways at designated crosswalks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe movement of school children across city roadways.
• Control traffic at designated crosswalks.
• Report and record any unusual activity in the post area.
• Report and record any child's injury while on duty.
• Correct unsafe conduct of the children while on duty.
• Perform duties as designated by the Assistant Director of Plant Operations.
