Job summary

The Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a part-time Crossing Guard to assist with student safety at designated street crossings around schools. The role requires you to wear a City-provided safety vest and carry a STOP sign during shifts and to help supervise students in a positive manner.

You will work under school district supervision, ensure safe crosswalks, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

• Must complete required training course and pass quiz before beginning employment.
