Job summary

All City Management Services is hiring School Crossing Guards to support Palm Beach County schools. The role involves assisting students and pedestrians at crossings, monitoring traffic, and maintaining safe crossing conditions during pre- and post-school shifts.

This is a part-time position with approximately two hours per day, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Pay is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Candidates living near the assigned school area may be best positioned for timely arrival to scheduled shifts.
• Ability to communicate through English is required by Palm Beach Sheriff's Office.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings.
• Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions.
• Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers.
• Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines.
