Job summary

All City Management Services is hiring multiple School Crossing Guards in Urbandale to help children travel safely to and from school. Guards will assist at designated crossings, monitor traffic, and maintain crossing safety while engaging with students, parents, and drivers.

The role is part-time with shifts before and after school, following the local calendar. Training and safety equipment are provided; reliable and punctual individuals who can stand outdoors in various weather are encouraged

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Position is part-time with shifts before and after school.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent observation and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings.
• Monitor traffic flow and crossing safety.
• Remain attentive and alert during shifts.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff and drivers.
