Job summary

ACMS, Royersford, PA, is hiring School Crossing Guards to help children safely travel to and from school. You will serve as a positive community presence at designated crossings and assist pedestrians and students during peak times.

This part-time role offers before and after school shifts with pay of $17.75 per hour plus bonus time; if both shifts are worked, you’ll receive the bonus time pay. Training and safety equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Residents near the assigned school may be best positioned for timely arrival to scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings.
• Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions.
• Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers.
• Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines.
