The Sun Prairie Area School District is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to help prepare and serve school meals. Hours are 10 am–2 pm, Monday–Friday during the school year, totaling 4 hours per day, with paid time off and holidays.

Responsibilities include food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, inventory support, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards in the cafeteria.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 2–4 months food service experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsabilités

• Prepares foods for meals.
• Serves meals and monitors condiment tables and serving lines.
• Cleans cafeteria tables and equipment.
• Restocks food and supplies and assists with end-of-year inventory.
• Monitors dishwasher temperature and maintains log.
• Follows safety and sanitation standards in all areas.
