Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Rocky Ford, CO is hiring immediately for a part-time Food Service Worker. The role supports school dining programs with prep, service and sanitation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–1:00 pm, with pay ranging from $15.16 to $16.00 per hour and an internal referral bonus. Qualifications include prior food service experience and a commitment to food safety.

• Prior food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
