Job summary

Esd113 is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Worker in Charlotte, NC for 2026/2027. The role covers onsite preparation, service and sanitation of the meal program to ensure a safe, clean environment in accordance with HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Three months of food service experience or more
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation/service of foods and beverages per guidelines.
• Sets up for service and serves students, faculty and staff; stores leftovers per portion control.
• Maintains food temperatures and records HACCP-related temperatures.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment including ovens, warmers, steam tables, mixers, slicers and dishwashers.
• Cleans work areas and disposes of waste properly.
• Attends in-service training as needed.
• May handle cash register, collect monies and balance receipts with POS.
