Chartwells K-12 is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier in the Hockinson School District, Brush Prairie WA. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, with prior school experience and cashiering needed. Pay ranges from $17.25 to $17.85 per hour, and training is available.

Qualifications

• Prior school experience, utility work, and cashiering experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
