Job summary

Leesel Transportation is seeking a School Bus Driver in Medford, NY, responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school. Candidates must have a valid NYS CDL A or B with P & S endorsements and at least one year of driving experience. The position offers starting pay of $25.48/hr, a guaranteed 25-30 hours per week, and additional benefits including paid CDL training and a sign-on bonus.

The ideal applicant will perform daily vehicle inspections and adhere to traffic and safety regulations while ensuring student safety during transport.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with 1 year of driving experience.
• Ability to safely transport students and monitor their behavior.
• Driver's license required for CDL permit training.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses to transport authorized passengers safely.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow traffic laws and DOT requirements while driving.
