Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age.
Class B CDL or able to obtain within 90-days of hire.
One year of experience in a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
Safely delivers students to and from schools following assigned bus routes.
Maintains safety when students board and depart buses.
Reports student discipline problems to appropriate administrators.
Inspects vehicles for mechanical defects and cleanliness.
Administers basic first aid when necessary.
Skills
Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment
Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions
Ability to work well with students with special needs
Ability to carry heavy loads
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Ability to pass annual DOT physical examination and drug test
Satisfactory driving record
Education
