First Student is hiring a Part Time School Bus Monitor/Aide in Warwick, RI (Strawberry Field). You will assist the bus driver to ensure a safe journey for students, with training provided and no prior experience required.

The role offers an hourly rate of $22.70, plus a training rate of $16.00, and a flexible split-shift schedule on weekdays. Responsibilities include helping students board and exit, assisting those with special needs, keeping riders safe and seated, and maintaining open

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Help students safely board and exit the bus.
• Assist children with special needs during transport.
• Ensure students remain seated and follow bus safety rules.
• Communicate with the driver to maintain a safe, calm ride.
• Provide care and encouragement to students each day.
