First Student in Buffalo, NY is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to start and pick up students daily, with field trips and events possible. Earn a sign-on bonus and enjoy benefits and a supportive training program.

You’ll drive responsibly, ensure student safety, and advance into leadership roles across locations in the U.S. and Canada. Flexible schedule with minimal nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver\'s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• Enjoy working with students.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus; prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues; keep bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
