Job summary

Birnie Bus Service in Tillson, NY is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver. You will transport students on set routes with a focus on safety and adherence to stop procedures, with daily vehicle inspections and support from a local management team.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for fully licensed CDL A/B with S & P endorsements (8/10/2026–9/30/2026) and a $2,500 sign-on for Driver Trainees. Pay ranges from $25.75 to $30.90 per hour, plus paid training and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for at least one year.
• At least 21 years old.
• Background check, drug screen & physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver students to and from school on set routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle safety.
• Adhere to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards.
• Work with local management and participate in training.
