Job summary

STA Family of Companies in Navarre, FL is seeking a part-time school bus driver to safely transport students along established routes from 5:30am-9:30am and 12:30pm-4:00pm/5:00pm, depending on location. You will work with a local management team, complete pre-trip inspections, and follow safety standards.

Candidates must be 21+, have at least 3 years of verifiable driving history, be able to obtain a CDL, complete CDL training, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving history.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Complete a comprehensive CDL training program.
• Pre-employment background checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• As requested or desired to drive students on field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.
