Job summary

Butler's Bus Service in Orleans, VT is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver. No CDL is not a barrier; paid training is provided, with sign-on bonus and weekly pay.

Must be 21+ with 3+ years driving experience, hold or obtain a Class B CDL with P & S endorsements, and pass background and drug screenings. Responsibilities include safely transporting students on local routes, performing inspections, and maintaining a professional line of communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements.
• Willingness to obtain endorsements—training provided.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and staff.
• Follow state/local traffic laws and school district policies.
