First Student, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time School Bus Driver in Victorville, CA to start mornings and afternoons transporting students safely. No experience required; training is provided to help you earn the necessary licenses and endorsements.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule (split AM/PM routes), paid hourly with steps for field trips and events. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match. DOT safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• No experience required; expert training and guidance provided to become a safe school bus driver.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT drug testing applies as safety-sensitive employee.
• Requires English proficiency for role-related communications.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain bus order to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
