Job summary

First Student is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Oregon, MO. You will start students' days with morning pickups and transport them home in the afternoon, with additional field trips possible. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule (AM/PM routes) with guaranteed minimum hours and opportunities for advancement across 540+ locations in the U.S. & Canada.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes and no nights or summers required.
• Position subject to DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and manage student safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and exits.
• Report mechanical issues and keep bus clean.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding delays or behavior.
