Job summary

STA Family of Companies in the United States is hiring immediately for Hempfield Schools part-time school bus drivers. No experience required, paid training, sign-on bonus, and referral bonuses offered. Part-time flexible hours and ongoing driver training are provided.

Responsibilities include driving school routes, performing safety inspections, conducting child checks, and attending monthly safety meetings. You may also assist with field trips and charter runs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving history.
• Pre-employment background checks, pass DOT physical and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct child checks after each run completion.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• As requested or desired to take field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.
