First Student in Indianapolis, IN is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school and activities. The role offers flexible, part-time hours with sign-on bonuses and on-the-job training.

New and experienced drivers are welcome; CDL-B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements are required or obtainable. Compensation includes an hourly wage with additional bonuses and benefits, supporting a meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain CDL-B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Must meet state CDL requirements and pass safety screenings.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Assist with boarding and seating; ensure seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on the bus.
• Maintain discipline and communicate with parents and school staff.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure safe operation.
