Job summary

First Student in Urbana, IL is seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school and field trips. Training is provided, with a flexible, split AM/PM schedule, and opportunities for career advancement across many locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes; weekdays only.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Assist students with boarding/unboarding and seatbelts.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure safety of all riders.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or concerns.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service while on route.
