First Student is hiring a Part Time School Bus Driver in Madison, WI to transport students safely on morning and afternoon routes. No experience is required; full training is provided to help you become a professional First Student driver.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, $26.00 per hour, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match and flexible part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes; no nights, weekends, holidays or summers required.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays or student behavior.
