Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Behavior Aide to support educational and behavioral services for students in Oxnard, CA. You will collaborate with teachers and other specialists to help children reach learning and behavioral goals in a school setting.

The role is contract, part-time, paying $25 per hour with 1.00 hour per assignment and weekly pay. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and pediatric experience, plus basic safety training as required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience preferred
• CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
• Support classroom activities and behavior management strategies as directed by educators.
