Job summary

Northwest Regional Education Service District seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality, evidence-based speech-language services within the St. Helens School District. The role reports to the SPED Coordinator and operates under a 1.0 FTE (8 hours per week) arrangement with 192 work days annually.

Salary is per negotiated contract under the Licensed Salary Schedule. The incumbent will work with students with a range of communication disorders, including language, articulation,

Qualifications

  • Licensure through the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology.
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience with children with a variety of disabilities and needs.
  • Valid Driver’s License; available transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language services in alignment with IEP/IFSP documentation.
  • Plan and implement speech-language programs using multiple service delivery models.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support literacy development.
  • Screen, assess, and document communication disorders and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including Medicaid billing where applicable.
