Job summary

Tutor Doctor is seeking a knowledgeable SAT Tutor for in-person, one-on-one SAT prep with high school students in the Carlsbad area. The role focuses on math, reading, and writing/grammar, with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

Ideal candidates may include teachers, substitute teachers, test prep specialists, or education majors who have strong SAT scores and a passion for helping students succeed. After-school availability is preferred (roughly 3–7pm) and travel to nearby areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong command of SAT content across math, reading, and writing.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in an education-related program preferred.

• Cover all sections of the SAT, including math, reading comprehension, and writing/grammar.
• Teach test-taking strategies, pacing, and content review tailored to each student's needs.

• Submit session reports and communicate progress with families and our office.
