Job summary

Private Prep is seeking enthusiastic SAT/ACT tutors to join our Central New Jersey and Northern New Jersey teams. This part-time role emphasizes tutoring across all sections, with valued high school math and science knowledge. In-person and hybrid contracts are offered; some in-person availability is required. Pay ranges from $50-70/hr in-person and $35-50/hr online, depending on experience and interview results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with tutoring or teaching.
• Access to a car.
• Strong content knowledge for SAT/ACT.
• Passion for education and helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Tutor SAT/ACT across all sections with individualized plans.
• Provide in-person and hybrid instruction as needed.
• Communicate student progress with families and students.
• Participate in ongoing tutor development and training.
