Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Frankfort, IN is hiring for a weekend cleaning role responsible for preparing manufacturing lines for production. You will clean equipment, wipe conveyors, and sanitize facilities to ensure safe, high-quality output of beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos.

The position requires ability to work Saturdays and Sundays, at night from 11:30 PM to 9:30 AM, and to operate in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with exposure to cleaning agents and varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Bending, reaching, kneeling, and stretching for extended periods.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, with hazardous/loud equipment, and on slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and manufacturing lines.
• Wipe down metal conveyors and clean the machines themselves.
• Handle cleaning agents, hot water and strong chemicals.
• Maintain facilities and some outdoor areas as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You can climb, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
• You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

What You’ll Do

• Clean the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
• Wipe down metal conveyors, as well as clean the machine itself
• Work with strong, corrosive chemicals, hot water, and cleaning agents
• Maintain and clean buildings and some outside landscaping
