Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a factory cleaner to prepare production lines for beverage and snack production.

The candidate will work Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 3am, with on-the-job training and a fast-paced environment requiring lifting and movement of product throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to climb, bend, reach and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, humidity and with loud equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment and lines for manufacturing products.
• Wipe down metal conveyors and clean the machine itself.
• Work with strong cleaning agents, hot water and chemicals.
• Maintain buildings and some outside landscaping.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You can climb, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
• You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

Clean manufacturing equipment, sanitize production lines, and maintain facilities to ensure beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos are produced in the safe, quality conditions that communities count on.

What You’ll Do

• Clean the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
• Wipe down metal conveyors, as well as clean the machine itself
• Work with strong, corrosive chemicals, hot water, and cleaning agents
• Maintain and clean buildings and some outside landscaping
