OhioHealth is seeking a part-time Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to join our SANE department. The 16-hour weekly role covers two 8-hour shifts, weekend days preferred, and supports forensic nursing services across multiple facilities in Ohio.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, an associate's degree, and is willing to complete specialized didactic training and exams. This on-call position emphasizes safety, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current registered nurse license (Ohio).
• Willingness to complete 40+ hour didactic training and supervised sexual assault exams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with comprehensive data collection and head-to-toe assessments.
• Coordinate safety planning and follow-up care including STI/HIV testing.
• Testify in court regarding forensic exam processes and documentation.
