Job summary

Highland Homes in Texas is hiring a Part-Time Sales Assistant to support the Sales Counselor and Sales Associates, with a flexible schedule up to 27 hours per week in the Van Alstyne area. This entry level position offers hourly compensation and a chance to learn the tricks of the trade.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with inventory, preparing closing documents, coordinating model openings and closings, and maintaining clean, well-presented model homes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and basic Internet use.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Counselor and Sales Associates with selling and marketing.
• Open and close model; maintain inventory and cleanliness; ensure readiness by 10:00 a.m. (12:00 p.m. Sundays).
• Greet customers, register prospective buyers, and set up follow-up with the Sales Counselor.
• Maintain knowledge of the community, plans, financing, and related details; support contract processing and paperwork.
