Job summary

Claire’s is hiring for a part-time, non-exempt role in California. Base pay is $18.25–$19.25 per hour. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a stylish, engaging store environment.

Responsibilities include guiding customers, training as piercing experts, managing inventory and cash handling, and promoting the brand through social media sharing. The role requires retail experience and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing retail experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a POS system and perform cash handling.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift 25–75 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging customer experiences to drive sales and upsell products.
• Participate in piercing training and maintain a sterile environment.
• Keep the store displays attractive and easy to shop.
• Support store leadership with motivation and sales tips.
• Represent the Claire's brand and stay current with fashion trends.
• Oversee basic store operations including inventory and merchandising.
• Encourage customers to share their purchases on social media.
