Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking an entry-level Part-time Sales Support at our Madison, WI branch. The role supports sales and customer service, manages inventory, and processes orders with occasional deliveries from a company vehicle.

The position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance goals are met. Ideal candidates have business/marketing ties or related experience, strong communication, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient with computers.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Demonstrate aptitude for sales and a customer-service mindset; self-directed.
• Adhere to Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift/carry 25–75 lbs and pass drug screen where required.
