Job summary

Fleet Farm in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Sales Team Member to deliver Best in Class service. You will greet customers, keep shelves stocked, and assist with price changes and displays to ensure a compelling sales floor.

You’ll train on the cash register, support freight flow, and promote Fleet Rewards and loyalty programs while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Previous retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and climb ladders is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage all customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep all endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain sales floor readiness by keeping shelves, displays and kick plates clean.
• Assist with price changes, including regular price, clearance, and sale items.
• Execute nightly recovery of departments through fronting and facing shelves and cleaning.
• Train on cash register functionality and assist running a cash register when needed.
• Assist in merchandise resets and visual display maintenance; coordinate freight flow to ensure representation of all merchandise.
• Articulate Fleet Rewards credit card and Loyalty Program and encourage customer applications.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and other company initiatives.

The Sales Team Member will provide a positive and efficient customer experience in the assigned area or zone.

Job duties:

• Greet and engage all Customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep all endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer readiness standards by keeping sales floor clean, including shelves, rail tops, displays and kick plates.
• Assist with completing in-store price changes, including regular price, clearance, and sales price changes.
• Execute nightly recovery of departments through fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and critical product filling.
• Train on cash register functionality and be available to promptly assist running a cash register if customer demand requires it.
• Assist in merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and the coordination of the freight flow process to ensure sales floor representation of all merchandise.
• Articulate the advantages of the Fleet Rewards credit card and Loyalty Program and encourage customers to apply.
• Positive promotion of Fleet Farm customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
