Job summary

A community-focused non-profit organization in Lake Forest is seeking a part-time Sales Associate / Material Handler to enhance customer service and support our rehabilitation program. This entry-level role involves greeting customers, handling merchandise, and ensuring store cleanliness. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong communication skills. The pay rate starts at $16.50 per hour with opportunities for career growth and employee discounts. Flexible schedules are required as the store operates seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all Customers and Donors needs are met by a genuine greeting and giving prompt assistance.
• Stocking priced items ready to be merchandised on the sales floor.
• Assisting in the maintenance of the store and donation area, keeping it clean and organized.
