Job summary

GetHired, Inc. in Westminster, CA is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service in our firearms retail setting.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, assist in locating merchandise, and perform sales transactions while maintaining firearm safety. The role requires 18+ years old, eligibility to work in a firearms environment, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail or sales experience preferred.
• Shooting sports knowledge a plus.
• Prior retail cashier or cash handling experience is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and salesmanship.
• Demonstrates constant awareness of firearm safety.
• Executes all required firearms paperwork within legal parameters.
• Provides product knowledge and helps locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions.
• Standing and walking the entire work shift.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including evenings, holidays and weekends. Open for business 7 days / week.
